Sales Associate – Retail

About the role

As a Sales Associate you will be the face of the store, delivering a simple, high‑quality shopping experience that reflects MUJI’s philosophy. You will work both independently and collaboratively to assist customers, keep the store looking its best, and help meet sales goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive, friendly service to every customer.
• Maintain high store standards and visual merchandising in line with brand guidelines.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Ensure products are displayed correctly, replenished promptly, and stocked accurately.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date product knowledge.
• Support stock‑management activities and create an organized shopping environment.

Required profile

• Passion for customer service and creating meaningful experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and adapt.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift light‑to‑medium loads.
• Attention to detail in store presentation and product standards.
• Basic IT and numeracy skills.
• Previous retail experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
