Sales & BD Manager GCC & North Africa (Rail/AFC/Ticketing Systems)

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is looking for an experienced International Sales & Business Development Manager to drive growth of Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) and ticketing solutions across the GCC and North Africa. The role combines deep technical knowledge of fare collection systems with proven commercial expertise to win new contracts and expand existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in AFC, Account‑Based Ticketing (ABT), digital payment and revenue collection solutions for metro, bus, tram, parking and tolling projects.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with transport authorities, operators, system integrators and technology partners.
• Lead complex tendering processes, coordinate bid teams and negotiate contracts to secure order intake.
• Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity and emerging MaaS opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline data and regular performance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales, business development and strategic account management within rail, public transport or mobility sectors.
• Proven track record of winning large‑scale AFC and ticketing contracts in GCC countries.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
