Sales Engineer – Machinery Division (Multiple Positions)

About the role

Universal Trading Company LLC is expanding its Machinery Division and seeks experienced Sales Engineers to promote a portfolio that includes DEUTZ engines, generators, compressors, forklifts and other industrial equipment. The role combines technical engineering knowledge with commercial sales activities across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new customers and identify business opportunities in assigned territories.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing clients through regular visits.
• Promote diesel engines, generators, compressors, forklifts and other industrial machinery solutions.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on inquiries and close sales deals.
• Identify new projects and emerging market opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience selling machinery, diesel engines, generators, compressors or forklifts.
• Strong technical knowledge combined with commercial sales expertise.
• Existing customer network in the UAE is an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills; UAE driving licence preferred.
