Sales Team Leader – Retail (IKEA)

About the role

The Sales Team Leader will drive IKEA’s sales and range strategy for the Jebel Ali business area in the UAE. You will manage product selection, pricing and margin performance while leading a team of sales co‑workers to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Implement IKEA Concept Documentation and range strategies across all stores.
• Select suppliers, negotiate contracts and achieve economies of scale with shopkeepers.
• Set and adjust prices to maintain low‑price leadership and meet margin targets.
• Collaborate with Logistics to forecast demand and ensure optimal goods flow.
• Coach and develop the sales team through training on IKEA concepts and performance metrics.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and sustainability initiatives to support business plans.

Required profile

• High School credential.
• 2‑5 years of retail experience, preferably with IKEA.
• Genuine interest in home furnishings and customer service.
• Proficient in English; Arabic preferred.
