About the role
The Science Lab Technician will support the science department by ensuring laboratory resources are well‑managed and experiments run smoothly. Working closely with the Head of Science and teachers, the role is essential for maintaining a safe and organized learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and regularly update the register of lab equipment.
- Maintain and regularly update the register of chemicals and consumables.
- Prepare laboratory experiments and practical sessions in coordination with the Head of Science and science teachers.
- Keep laboratories organized, clean, and ready for use.
- Implement and monitor safety procedures in the labs, collaborating with department members.
Required profile
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with staff and students.
- Strong attention to detail and an organized approach.
- Team‑player attitude.
