Science Teacher (Immediate Start)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Science Teacher to join its growing network of schools in Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start. The role involves delivering engaging, inclusive science lessons that inspire curiosity and support the academic, social, and personal development of students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver science lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater to a wide ability range.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff, and parents to ensure positive learning outcomes.
• Assess and record student progress using Target Tracker and provide feedback at parent‑teacher conferences.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy and act as a positive role model.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events, and run a weekly extracurricular activity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with students for whom English is not the first language.
• Commitment to safeguarding, professionalism, and the well‑being of children.
• Clean enhanced DBS or police check.
