SCMS Engineer (Power Transmission)

About the role

We are seeking an SCMS Engineer to review substation control and monitoring systems for major transmission projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring the technical integrity of SCMS architecture and supporting the commissioning phase of power transmission substations.

Key responsibilities

• Review SCMS architecture, configurations and technical submissions.
• Assess control‑system interfaces and communication requirements.
• Coordinate with telecom, protection and electrical disciplines.
• Evaluate testing procedures and commissioning documentation.
• Support resolution of interface issues and verify final configuration and as‑built records.
• Monitor technical comments and approval status throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Experience with Substation Control and Monitoring Systems.
• Strong background in transmission substations and control systems.
• Proven experience in EPC engineering reviews and commissioning activities.
• Knowledge of protection, telecom and SCADA interfaces.
