Secondary Mathematics Teacher

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging mathematics lessons to secondary pupils following the IGCSE and A‑Level curricula.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments and provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
• Collaborate with department colleagues and contribute to cross‑phase initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Mathematics – distance or open‑university qualifications are not accepted.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience with IGCSE or A‑Level mathematics.
• All certificates must be duly attested.
• High Performance Learning (HPL) experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching both inside and outside the classroom.
• Strong teamwork abilities across departments and school phases.
• Excellent IT proficiency and interpersonal communication for interaction with students and parents.
• Fluent command of English.
