Section Head – Master’s Program Registrar

About the role

The Section Head of the Master’s Program Registrar Department will lead the planning, delivery, and administration of executive‑level master’s programmes at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. Reporting to senior university leadership, this role ensures programmes meet academic standards, market demand, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee implementation and day‑to‑day administration of executive master’s programmes.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new programmes in partnership with faculty, finance, and communications teams.
• Coordinate class scheduling, faculty travel, and delivery of student materials.
• Collaborate with Registrar and Student Recruitment to identify and attract prospective candidates.
• Develop corporate relationships with UAE public and private organisations to align programme offerings with market needs.
• Organise academic assignments, invigilate examinations, and ensure assessment coordination.
• Serve as the primary contact for all student enquiries related to programme content.
• Supervise a small support team and manage their performance.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (minimum).
• 5–10 years of experience in academic support, higher‑education teaching, or related fields.
• Demonstrated managerial or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of UAE higher‑education accreditation policies and the European Credit Transfer System is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience managing delivery of executive‑level programmes.
• Proven track record in marketing and promotion of such programmes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; bilingual English/Arabic preferred.
• Project planning and management capabilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and knowledge of UAE business and government entities.
