Security Officer

About the role

Le Meridien in Dubai is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property. The role involves patrolling the hotel, monitoring security systems, and responding to emergencies while maintaining a professional presence.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, lock entrances when required, and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire life‑safety systems, and respond to alarms promptly.
• Provide first aid/CPR, contact EMS, and assist guests and staff during emergencies.
• Investigate incidents, complete incident and loss‑prevention reports, and gather evidence.
• Escort unwelcome persons, handle disturbances, and ensure the orderly flow of operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior security experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Willingness to comply with company policies, maintain confidentiality, and present a professional appearance.

Required skills

• Operating and monitoring CCTV and alarm systems.
• Providing first aid and CPR.
• Incident reporting and documentation.
• Basic computer usage for reporting and communication.
