Security Officer - Regulatory Affairs

About the role

The Security Officer in the Regulatory Affairs unit supports Emirates Group Security by ensuring that all security actions comply with group policies and regulatory requirements. Working independently, you will investigate non‑conformities, recommend corrective measures, and help develop training and awareness materials to strengthen security barriers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control daily discrepancy logs and conduct investigations to establish facts.
• Review personnel and case records to verify compliance with appearance, conduct and efficiency standards.
• Inspect operations, observe activities, and identify evidence of inefficiency or misconduct.
• Prepare and submit performance and readiness reports, recommending actions or rule changes.
• Collate statistics and evidence to present comprehensive findings to senior authority.
• Cascade senior management directions and contribute to procedure formulation and quality drives.
• Re‑allocate security personnel during emergencies (e.g., fire, Incident Support Unit activation).
• Act as liaison with police, immigration, prosecution, Dubai Airports Company and other authorities.
• Develop procedures to prevent unlawful interference and support overall security program development.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and coordinate security actions according to group policy.
• Strong investigative skills to analyse cases of non‑conformity and propose counter‑measures.
• Experience in preparing detailed reports and presenting recommendations to senior management.
• Capability to liaise effectively with external authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Flexibility to respond to emergency situations and re‑distribute security resources.
