Security Officer – Security Systems & Screening Projects

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Security Officer to lead security system and screening projects at its Dubai hub. You will work independently to ensure security actions align with Group Security policies and contribute to a safe aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control daily discrepancy logs, investigate non‑conformities and recommend corrective actions.
• Inspect operations, observe activities and ensure personnel meet appearance, conduct and efficiency standards.
• Prepare and submit reports on staff productivity, operational readiness and recommend policy changes.
• Act as liaison with police, immigration, prosecution and Dubai Airports Company for investigations and security program development.
• Support emergency response by reallocating security personnel and ensuring continuity of operations.

Required profile

• Supervisory experience in aviation security or a large services sector, preferably in a law‑enforcement environment.
• Industry certifications such as IATA or ICAO aviation security qualifications.
• Relevant experience in the airline industry.
• Diploma or certificate in Aviation Security Management is an advantage.
