Security Researcher – Cybersecurity Threat Hunter

About the role

We are looking for a Security Researcher – Cybersecurity Threat Hunter to join Microsoft’s MCAPS‑Core Customer & Commercial Success organization in Dubai. The role focuses on advanced threat research, vulnerability analysis and the design of proactive security solutions that protect Microsoft products and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advanced cybersecurity research and threat analysis by curating data sources, studying vulnerabilities, adversary tactics and academic findings.
• Plan and design cross‑functional security solutions aligned with product timelines, risks and feature scopes.
• Own security orchestration, conduct large‑scale architecture reviews, assess operational security measures and lead incident response activities.
• Investigate and remediate security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and identify protection gaps.
• Develop and automate scalable detection and response capabilities, improving malware and threat analysis methods.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cybersecurity research, threat hunting and incident response.
• Ability to translate complex threat data into actionable insights for multiple teams.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with security and non‑security stakeholders.
