Security Team Leader

About the role

The Security Team Leader oversees daily security operations at a luxury hotel, guiding a team of Security Officers to protect guests, staff, assets and property. This role blends leadership with a guest‑focused mindset while ensuring strict compliance with hotel policies, UAE regulations and emergency procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate Security Officers during assigned shifts.
• Conduct daily security briefings, shift handovers and post assignments.
• Monitor hotel entrances, exits, public areas, back‑of‑house zones, parking and other designated locations.
• Perform regular patrols, identify potential risks and respond to suspicious activity.
• Monitor CCTV and access‑control systems, manage key and pass control.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, accidents and security threats.
• Investigate incidents, prepare accurate reports and assist with fire, evacuation, medical or bomb‑threat procedures.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping, HR and Management, and liaise with police, civil defence and other authorities.
• Handle guest complaints and security‑related situations discreetly and professionally.

Required profile

• Professional, guest‑oriented attitude with strong leadership qualities.
• Thorough knowledge of UAE security regulations and hotel emergency protocols.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple hotel departments.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
