About the role
Valtrans Transportation Systems & Services is seeking an Arabic‑speaking Accountant to join its Dubai office. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports in both Arabic and English, and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing for its transportation and hospitality operations.
Key responsibilities
- Post journal entries, maintain general ledgers and reconcile bank and cash accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, monitor expense records and cash flow.
- Prepare financial statements and reports in Arabic and English.
- Assist with budgeting, financial analysis and internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations and company policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Relevant experience in transportation, hospitality or service‑oriented industries.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP or accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
