Senior Accounting Associate

About the role

CDA is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join its UAE‑based finance team. The role involves managing end‑to‑end accounting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and ISA, and supporting audit activities for a diverse client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and restructure Chart of Accounts in QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho and other ERP systems.
• Review and validate data entry for sales, purchases, petty cash, receipts and payments.
• Perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations and allocate payments to invoices.
• Prepare monthly income statements, balance sheets, cash‑flow statements and present accounts with ratio and cost‑benefit analysis.
• Conduct GL reconciliation and financial/compliance reviews.
• Allocate work to junior staff, coordinate task completion and, when required, visit client sites.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a UAE‑based accounting firm.
• Qualified CA (interim/final), ACCA, CMA or CPA.

Required skills

• QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho and other ERP software.
• Chart of Accounts setup and restructuring.
• Bank and credit‑card reconciliation.
• IFRS and ISA reporting standards.
• GL reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
