Senior Analyst - Trading Control

About the role

The Senior Analyst – Trading Control will lead analytical and operational activities that ensure trading processes meet regulatory standards and support market integrity. This on‑site position in Abu Dhabi requires close collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA).

Key responsibilities

• Follow departmental processes, policies, and SOPs to maintain controlled and consistent work.
• Execute daily trading‑control tasks, verify maker‑checker readiness, and support trading session preparation.
• Identify, investigate, and document irregularities in trading activity, escalating findings for resolution.
• Monitor new listings, trade corrections, and index changes to ensure compliance with SCA and ADX regulations while maintaining a comprehensive audit trail.
• Facilitate onboarding of new brokerage houses, preparing documentation and assisting with platform integration.
• Contribute operational insights to the development of new products and services.
• Lead testing and implementation of initiatives aimed at improving trading systems and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum six years of experience in the securities, stock‑exchange, or a closely related sector.
• Professional certifications such as FRM or CFA are preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Abu Dhabi with no remote option.
