Senior Architect - Site Supervision

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Architect to lead site supervision activities for our projects in Dubai. The role involves ensuring that all architectural works are executed in line with contract documents, quality standards and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor architectural works on‑site to ensure compliance with contract documents and the procedures manual.
• Review and process all architectural technical submittals and respond to RFIs.
• Coordinate and supervise architectural activities, liaising with sub‑consultants and other disciplines.
• Evaluate contractor change‑order proposals and claims related to architectural works, providing recommendations to the Project Manager.
• Manage architectural inspectors, inspect completed works and support start‑up, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Sign off on completed architectural works and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Prepare weekly planning and progress reports and perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Middle East, with at least 6–8 years in a UAE or regional international consultancy environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of exterior envelope details and material interfaces.
