Senior Architect - Site Supervision

About the role

Oversee and monitor architectural works to ensure they conform to contract documents and the procedures manual. Lead coordination with other disciplines and manage architectural inspectors to guarantee quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process all architectural technical submittals and address RFIs related to architectural aspects.
• Coordinate and supervise all architectural activities, including change order proposals and contractor claims.
• Lead the coordination process with other disciplines and liaise with sub‑consultants.
• Manage architectural inspectors to ensure compliance with quality standards and sign off on completed works.
• Prepare weekly planning and progress reports and assist in inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover of architectural works.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Middle East, including 6‑8 years in the UAE or a Middle‑East based international consultancy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of project specifications and authority requirements.
• Complete project understanding in the architectural discipline from inception to handover.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Strong technical knowledge of exterior envelope details and material interfaces.
