Senior Associate – Architecture & Design

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Associate to join our Buildings Design Architecture team in Dubai. The role sits within the Specification & Detailing team and focuses on delivering detailed technical drawings, reviewing sub‑consultant submissions, and ensuring design excellence across complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the specification team to mentor architects and engineers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Champion 1:5 and finer architectural detail resolution while maintaining high design standards.
• Act as primary client contact for supplier engagement and manage industry relationships.
• Support architectural bid preparation, strategic planning, and resource forecasting.
• Ensure project processes align with company policies, governance frameworks, and industry standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, cost, project management) for integrated delivery.
• Represent the practice at industry events, conferences, and professional organisations such as RIBA, AIA, and CIAT.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in a recognised global architecture studio, with proven work in the Middle East.
• Demonstrated ability to produce 1:5 architectural detail resolution across multiple building typologies.
• Familiarity with local suppliers, best practices, and construction constraints in the region.
