Senior Business Development Specialist

About the role

EDGE Group is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to drive market expansion and customer engagement for its advanced technology and defence portfolio in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new market and business development opportunities across defence and advanced‑technology sectors.
• Conduct market, customer and competitor research to inform strategy.
• Support opportunity qualification, pipeline management and CRM data maintenance.
• Prepare customer presentations, business cases and market assessments.
• Coordinate with technical and commercial teams to progress opportunities and support strategic partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, commercial or strategy roles, preferably in the defence sector.
• Strong analytical, research, communication and presentation abilities.

• Multi‑intelligence fusion (EW, Radar, EO/IR, SAR, AIS, acoustics, GEOINT, OSINT).
