Senior Compliance Analyst

About the role

Deriv is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to protect the business and its clients by embedding a strong compliance culture across all operations. You will leverage AI‑enhanced tools to evaluate accounts, transactions and customer data, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate flagged accounts and transaction activity to uncover compliance concerns.
• Conduct comprehensive customer due‑diligence reviews against internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Assess high‑value deposits and withdrawals using AI‑powered review procedures.
• Screen clients against PEP lists, sanctions databases and adverse media, distinguishing genuine risks from noise.
• Prepare detailed compliance reports and support regulatory filing requirements.
• Collaborate with operational and product teams to clarify compliance requirements and improve processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in compliance, regulatory or risk functions at scale.
• University degree in finance, economics, law, risk management or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication skills to explain compliance needs to cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Familiarity with AI‑enhanced compliance tools.
• Experience with customer due‑diligence, transaction monitoring and sanctions screening.
• Ability to produce rigorous compliance documentation.
