Senior Composite Design Engineer – Aerospace

About the role

ENATA is seeking a Senior Composite Design Engineer to join its Aerospace division in the UAE. The role is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on designing composite materials and structures using advanced CAD tools.

Key responsibilities

• Surface modelling of composite tooling in Siemens NX12.
• Design of alloy and composite mechanical parts (GFRC, UHPC, CFRP, GFRP).
• Creation of plugs and molds from CAD parts.
• Production of part assemblies in Siemens NX12, including definition of degrees of freedom and cinematics.
• Design of components for water‑jet and CNC cutting.
• Follow‑up on implementation of engineering designs into production lines, including lamination sheet sequence and process definition.
• Issuance of guidance drawings and ensuring proper CAD structure tree setup.
• Providing advanced NX12 support to other design engineers (assembly cinematics, surface and mesh modelling).

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in composite mechanical design, preferably in aerospace.
• Proven ability to work on‑site and collaborate with manufacturing teams.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and project requirements.

Required skills

• Siemens NX12 (surface modelling, assembly cinematics, DOF, mesh modelling).
• Composite materials expertise (GFRC, UHPC, CFRP, GFRP).
• CAD surface modelling.
