Senior Concept Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Concept Architect to join AECOM’s Dubai office. In this strategic position you will lead the creation and refinement of innovative architectural concepts that support our clients’ transformation and competitive advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and articulate comprehensive architectural concepts and strategic frameworks aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
• Analyze complex business requirements and technical landscapes to identify innovative design patterns and solutions.
• Lead collaborative workshops and design sessions with stakeholders to gather insights, validate concepts and build consensus.
• Create detailed architectural documentation, including conceptual models, design specifications and implementation roadmaps.
• Mentor junior architects and design professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, methodologies and industry best practices to enhance architectural strategies.
• Present architectural concepts and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders with clear, persuasive communication.
• Oversee the transition of concepts from design through implementation phases.

Required profile

• Minimum of 72 months (6 years) of relevant experience in architectural concept development.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
