Senior Construction Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a mega‑project in Dubai. The role is client‑facing and involves direct oversight of both international and local contractors on site, ensuring quality, safety, cost and schedule targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage multiple contractors, building robust relationships and integrated teams.
• Directly manage international and local contractors on site.
• Oversee construction delivery for the entire project package.
• Provide on‑site leadership and supervision of contractors.
• Lead and motivate the project team to achieve milestones and goals.
• Drive quality, safety, cost and schedule improvements with all delivery partners.
• Manage all aspects of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE).
• Report on project milestones, deliverables, risks and issues to leadership.
• Control project scope, changes and ensure effective communication.
• Focus on complex structural steel elements, temporary works, logistics and site coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of post‑graduate experience in a similar construction management role.
• Degree qualification required for client approval.
• Proven track record on large construction projects.
• Experience with structural steel and complex temporary works is an advantage.
• Background in hotels, mixed‑use or commercial buildings is beneficial.
• Prior experience working in Dubai is essential.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent management, commercial awareness and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Outstanding organisation, delegation and communication abilities.
