Senior Contract, Bid & Proposal Management Professional

About the role

The Contract, Bid & Proposal Management Senior Professional will lead end‑to‑end bid, proposal and contract activities for complex projects within Hitachi Energy’s Operating Unit in the Middle East. You will shape winning bid strategies, coordinate cross‑functional teams and ensure profitable, compliant tender submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical, commercial and contractual proposal development from qualification to award.
• Analyse customer requirements, evaluate solution alternatives and define optimal product and system configurations.
• Develop and manage bid execution plans, submission schedules and stakeholder responsibilities.
• Conduct commercial strategy, costing, pricing models and profitability assessments.
• Maintain requirement baselines, control changes and ensure governance compliance throughout the tender lifecycle.
• Review, negotiate and mitigate risks in customer contracts, framework and subcontract agreements.
• Lead tender risk reviews and secure management approvals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing bids, proposals and contracts for medium to highly complex projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to develop pricing and cost models.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess risks, costs and market intelligence.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with legal, finance and risk departments.
