Senior Contracts Manager

About the role

The Senior Contracts Manager will lead end‑to‑end administration of EPC contracts for offshore detailed engineering projects. The role ensures contractual, commercial, legal and HSSE obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle, from award to close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Provide visible HSSE leadership and embed HSSE obligations within the EPC contract.
• Review, establish and maintain the EPC contract baseline (scope, schedule, commercial and risk assumptions).
• Draft, review, negotiate and administer contracts while protecting the company’s commercial interests.
• Manage risks and ensure contractual compliance during engineering execution and site activities.
• Act as the bridge between project teams, clients, subcontractors and legal/commercial departments.
• Oversee change management processes and ensure proper documentation and records management.
• Support safe contract administration practices at project offices and construction sites.
• Lead contract close‑out activities, ensuring all obligations are fulfilled.

Required profile

• Minimum 240 months (20 years) of experience in EPC contract management, preferably on offshore engineering projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex contractual arrangements.
• Strong understanding of HSSE standards and risk management in the energy, chemicals and resources sector.
• Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
