Senior Cyber Security Engineer – Continuous Validation

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead a critical initiative in a leading banking environment. The role focuses on continuous security validation, AI security testing, threat emulation, and overall security assurance across cloud, application, and AI domains.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate continuous security validation programs for cloud, infrastructure, applications and AI systems.
• Execute automated validation against approved threat scenarios and attack simulations.
• Develop and maintain test suites aligned with threat intelligence and emerging attack techniques.
• Perform AI security assessments, adversarial testing and red‑team exercises on generative AI platforms.
• Integrate threat‑intelligence feeds into validation scenarios and manage vulnerability remediation workflows.
• Collaborate with security architecture, cloud, platform and engineering teams to improve cyber resilience.
• Produce security metrics, dashboards and reporting for governance and attestation.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote security awareness across engineering communities.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in cyber security engineering, penetration testing, red‑team operations or security validation.
• Proven track record implementing automated, continuous validation in highly regulated environments, preferably banking.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
