Senior Design Manager Infrastructure

About the role

As a Senior Design Manager – Infrastructure you will lead the design process across the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients, design consultants and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met in line with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead program‑level design management for wet utilities, dry utilities, roads and landscape.
• Manage design, supervision consultants and contractors to deliver integrated utility solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authority standards (ADM, ADQCC, TAQA, SWS, TRANSCO) and secure necessary NOCs/approvals.
• Oversee utility corridors and ROWs for multi‑utility integration.
• Drive tender process management: review specifications, handle clarifications, evaluate technical and commercial bids, and recommend awards.
• Monitor construction interface, shop drawings and design‑to‑site continuity.
• Coordinate handover activities including as‑built drawings, GIS data, O&M manuals and authority acceptance.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of design management experience, preferably on hospitality projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• Previous experience in the UAE or Saudi Arabia and familiarity with local authority standards.
• Strong leadership style, client‑facing attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
