Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join NMDC Group’s EPC and marine construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing the commissioning phase of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering high‑quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute electrical commissioning activities on assigned projects.
• Verify that all work complies with project specifications, codes and safety procedures.
• Prepare and review commissioning documentation, test reports and hand‑over packages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues during start‑up.
• Provide on‑site support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in electrical commissioning within EPC or marine construction environments.
• Strong understanding of relevant standards, codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
