Senior Embedded Software Engineer

About the role

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for avionics, flight control, and aerospace systems. Implement software for real-time systems, ensuring low latency and high reliability of critical functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for avionics, flight control, and aerospace systems.
• Implement software for real-time systems, ensuring low latency and high reliability.
• Collaborate with system engineers to translate control algorithms and requirements into embedded code.
• Integrate software with hardware systems and conduct testing to ensure functionality, performance, and safety compliance.
• Develop software aligned with standards such as DO-178C and DO-254.
• Optimize code for memory, power efficiency, and performance while following best practices.
• Maintain documentation including software design, code, and test results.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams such as hardware, systems, and QA for seamless integration.
• Identify and resolve defects, anomalies, and performance issues through debugging and analysis.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in aerospace or safety‑critical domains.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in C and C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with microcontroller architectures such as ARM or STM32 and low‑level hardware interfacing.
