Senior Embryologist

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Embryologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai. The role involves overseeing advanced embryology laboratory activities and delivering high‑quality IVF and ART services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and supervise daily embryology laboratory operations.
• Handle and assess sperm, oocytes and embryos following established protocols.
• Conduct IVF and ICSI procedures, assess fertilisation and embryo development.
• Grade, select and prepare embryos for fresh and frozen transfer cycles.
• Perform cryopreservation and thawing of embryos and gametes.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, traceability documentation and quality‑control parameters.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and infection‑control procedures.
• Develop and implement laboratory SOPs and support junior staff.
• Collaborate closely with reproductive medicine physicians and the IVF team.
• Participate in quality improvement, audits and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Embryology, Clinical Embryology, Reproductive Biology, Biomedical Science or related field.
• Relevant professional training in clinical embryology/ART.
• Significant experience working in an IVF laboratory with strong IVF and ICSI expertise.
• Understanding of laboratory quality‑control and traceability systems.
• Ability to meet applicable Saudi professional/regulatory requirements.
