Senior Emergency Preparedness Training Instructor

About the role

The Senior Emergency Preparedness Training Instructor will implement and maintain the Barakah Onsite Emergency Preparedness Training Program, ensuring it aligns with off‑site trainings and supports the Nawah emergency response organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Nawah Emergency Preparedness Training Program Manual and related documentation, ensuring alignment with procedures and governance.
• File training‑related findings into a corrective action program and track them to completion.
• Monitor availability of training facilities, equipment, and communication systems, and schedule sufficient simulator time for training activities.
• Develop and maintain training matrices and databases for personnel in the Nawah emergency response organization.
• Provide input for development and revision of the emergency preparedness training program and assist in keeping the Emergency Plan Training Program up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum High School certification with at least 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 months in a nuclear power plant and demonstrated instructional techniques.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physical Science and 5 years of experience in nuclear emergency preparedness at an operating nuclear power plant.
• Professional certification as a qualified instructor for the material presented.
