Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will lead the analysis of Midis Group’s financial performance, providing forecasts and strategic insights to senior management. The role involves mentoring junior analysts and collaborating closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and analyse financial statements, forecast revenues and expenditures, and build financial models for decision support.
• Support management in developing financial plans, resource allocation, and business case evaluation.
• Identify trends, perform variance analysis, and generate periodic performance reports.
• Drive process and policy improvements to optimise workflows and financial growth.
• Provide cost‑reduction recommendations and strategic alternatives to improve performance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of financial regulations and policies.
• Oversee and mentor Financial Analyst(s) in daily activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 4–5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Data Analyst or in a data‑driven finance role, preferably within a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights.
• Experience analysing performance across multiple regions, product portfolios and business units.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with AI‑enhanced Excel for data analysis, charting, dashboard creation and reporting.
• Experience using AI‑powered analytics and reporting tools.
• Financial modelling and variance analysis.
