Senior Financial Analyst – Renewable Energy

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will support Transaction Leaders in identifying, analysing and monitoring renewable energy investments for Alcazar Energy Partners. The role involves conducting financial modelling, due‑diligence and post‑investment monitoring across a portfolio of utility‑scale projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models and projections as directed by Investment Management and Development teams.
• Analyse company financial statements, sector data and macro‑economic events impacting renewable energy investments.
• Provide analytical support for due‑diligence processes and post‑investment asset monitoring.
• Assist VP/SVP and Project Finance teams with transaction timelines, data collection and basic legal documentation.
• Prepare high‑quality PowerPoint presentations and reports for investors, boards and shareholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of post‑qualification experience in investment management, private equity, power or infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy markets, technologies and industry drivers.
• Familiarity with commercial and funding structures for energy assets.
