Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Inception42, a G42 company, is the region’s leading innovator of AI‑powered products. The Senior Frontend Engineer will design, develop, and optimise web applications with a focus on user experience, scalability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable frontend applications and reusable component libraries.
• Build interactive user experiences and integrate with APIs and event‑driven platforms.
• Define frontend architecture standards, maintain design systems and enforce best practices.
• Optimize performance, ensure accessibility, security and define testing strategies.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews and promote engineering excellence.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers and product managers in technical planning and estimation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience, including 4+ years with TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in React.js and Next.js, with experience in enterprise web applications and design systems.
• Proven experience in frontend architecture, state management, SSR/SSG, performance optimisation, automated testing and secure API integration.
