Senior HR Assistant

About the role

The Senior HR Assistant will support AESG’s HR function by handling payroll, employee relations, record keeping and HRIS updates. This role contributes to a positive employee experience and helps ensure organisational effectiveness across the Dubai office.

Key responsibilities

• Payroll & Benefits: manage monthly payroll data, ensure compliance with reporting formats, assist employees with payroll inquiries, and calculate overtime, deductions and pro‑rated salaries.
• Employee Relations: serve as the first point of contact for general employee queries, support HR requests and provide timely updates.
• File Management: maintain accurate employee records and securely store employment documents such as contracts, addendums and identification copies.
• HRIS Management: update the HRIS with new hires, leavers, leave and sick data, ensure data accuracy, and develop guidelines for new HRIS processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Psychology or a related discipline.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a fast‑growing HR environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to handle tasks with supervision.

Required skills

• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
