Senior IGH Audit Associate

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Senior IGH Audit Associate to join its Dubai audit team for the FY25 hiring session. The role starts on 1 October 2024, with interviews beginning in June 2024. You will lead audits across infrastructure, governance, healthcare, real‑estate, construction, and oil & gas sectors, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize IGH audit assignments for manager/partner review.
• Produce workpapers, highlight issues, and propose solutions.
• Manage client deliverables and attend client meetings.
• Conduct strategic analysis and risk identification specific to the IGH industry.
• Assess effectiveness of client processes and controls.
• Perform higher‑risk and non‑routine audit procedures.
• Provide day‑to‑day supervision of junior team members.
• Apply KPMG audit methodology and relevant industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent.
• ACCA – minimum 9 papers completed, or CPA – 2 papers, or ICAEW – professional stage completed.
• At least 2 years of post‑graduate audit experience, preferably in IGH audits.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts for the IGH sector.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
