Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

AFG Retail is looking for a seasoned Senior Internal Auditor to lead complex audit engagements across its retail operations. You will work closely with senior management to strengthen governance, assess risks, and improve internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead internal audit teams on large‑scale assignments, from planning through follow‑up.
• Manage the full audit lifecycle, including risk assessment, fieldwork, testing, reporting, and monitoring action plans.
• Evaluate internal controls, governance frameworks, operational processes, and risk‑management practices.
• Identify control weaknesses, operational risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Prepare and review professional audit reports and track implementation of management recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Professional certification (CIA, CA, CPA, SOCPA, ACCA or equivalent) – mandatory.
• 10–12 years of internal audit experience, preferably in the retail sector.
• Proven leadership, analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
