About the role
The Senior Software Engineer will focus on back‑end development for cash‑management solutions within a digital banking environment. You will design, build and maintain high‑performance Java services that support critical financial transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and micro‑services using Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Integrate with enterprise middleware and messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ.
- Maintain and optimise application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere) and databases (MySQL, SQL Server).
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and deliver performance‑tuned solutions.
Required profile
- Strong hands‑on experience in Java/J2EE development and the banking or financial services domain.
- Proven ability to work in fast‑paced projects, deliver zero‑defect code and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and familiarity with SDLC and secure coding practices.

- CI/CD tools, Git, DevOps practices, Linux/Unix environments.
