Senior Land Surveyor

About the role

Egis, a global engineering and consulting leader, is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor to join its Dubai team. The role involves applying advanced field surveying techniques to support complex infrastructure projects across the United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Establish horizontal and vertical control points with high tolerance.
• Conduct land and field surveys, perform geodetic calculations, and verify setting‑out and level checks.
• Inspect service locations, protect existing utilities, and record initial and final work levels.
• Prepare and maintain field sketches, books, and calculations.
• Assist engineers in reviewing shop drawings, control point verification, and benchmark checks.
• Produce and review as‑built drawings and record drawings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in land surveying and geodetic work.
• Familiarity with modern surveying instruments such as GPS, total stations and digital levels.
• Ability to work independently on site and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
