Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

The Global Technology company in Dubai is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team. Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will provide expert advice on a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements, supporting the company’s growth and compliance objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements across various business units.
• Provide legal counsel on contractual risks, compliance issues, and commercial strategies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to ensure alignment with corporate policies.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments in the region and advise accordingly.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer in a Common Law jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE).
• Extensive experience advising on all types of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Background working with a leading international law firm.
• Preferably based in the Middle East region.

Required skills

• Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of commercial law and regulatory frameworks.
