Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Insight, a Fortune 500‑ranked global technology provider, is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel for its EMEA Legal function based in Abu Dhabi. The role offers high‑impact strategic legal support across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with senior stakeholders in Sales, HR, Finance, Operations and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, commercially focused legal advice across all business areas and act as subject‑matter expert on applicable laws and regulations.
• Draft, review and negotiate technology, cloud, reseller, distributor and services agreements while ensuring contract governance aligns with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with EMEA regulations, including GDPR, and anticipate regulatory changes to guide proactive business adaptation.
• Support development and implementation of policies, procedures and corporate governance frameworks.
• Deliver training on contract best practices and assist with dispute resolution and legal projects.

Required profile

• Significant experience in commercial, regulatory and corporate law within a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to advise senior leaders, translate complex legal concepts into clear guidance and influence decision‑making.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience handling multi‑jurisdictional matters.
