Senior Legal Counsel – Projects & EPC

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support our offshore projects, EPC contracts and logistics operations. The role involves providing expert legal advice, drafting and negotiating contracts, and mitigating complex risks across the company’s value chain.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, deeds and other legal documents related to offshore, shipping and logistics projects.
• Provide legal opinions, advice and risk‑mitigation strategies to senior management, commercial and project functions.
• Conduct due‑diligence and analyze contractor claims to protect the company’s interests.
• Interface with business units and external counsel, ensuring compliance with UAE law and company policies.
• Formulate contract principles and policies, and represent the company in legal matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years (96 months) of relevant legal experience, preferably in offshore, oil & gas, shipping or logistics sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UAE commercial and contract law.
• Proven ability to provide preventive legal advice and manage complex contractual risk.
