Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer (L3)

About the role

HCL TechBee is looking for experienced L3 Linux Infrastructure Engineers to support and enhance its compute environment. The role focuses on delivering reliable, secure, and automated compute services that enable research, teaching, and learning initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of compute infrastructure services.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable compute platforms.
• Implement automation, process compliance, and security best practices.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to ITIL and DevOps standards.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of hands‑on Linux systems administration (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), container technologies, networking, storage, and backup concepts.
• Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automation frameworks such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with LAMP stack components and application‑level troubleshooting.
• Understanding of hardware infrastructure and data‑center operations.
• Focus on security, documentation, and ITIL compliance.
