Senior Manager Business Operations

About the role

The Senior Manager – Business Operations reports directly to the CEO and owns the end‑to‑end operational performance of all business units and active projects. This role ensures seamless execution, financial discipline, and compliance across a multi‑vertical, multi‑geography organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and project delivery across Telecom, ICT, Energy, Managed Services, Manpower, Auto, and Civil Contracting.
• Monitor project timelines, SLAs/KPIs, risks and drive corrective actions or escalations as needed.
• Review revenue, costs, profitability, budgets vs. actuals and manage cost variances.
• Control invoicing, billing documentation, receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
• Lead budget planning, cost‑control initiatives and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Manage POs/contracts, renewals, variations and ensure commercial coverage.
• Coordinate manpower planning, utilization, overtime and resource sharing.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Procurement, Commercial, IT and other functions to resolve operational dependencies.
• Supervise vendors, subcontractors and partners against performance, cost and contractual obligations.
• Strengthen policies, SOPs, governance frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a consolidated Business Operations Dashboard and present key metrics to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior operational leadership within multi‑vertical environments.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control and profitability analysis.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Track record of driving process improvement, automation and operational excellence.
• Ability to manage complex projects, risks and escalations in a fast‑paced setting.
