Senior Manager - Enterprise Data Architect

About the role

Emirates Group IT is seeking a strategic technology leader to define and govern the enterprise data architecture across its global aviation business. As Senior Manager – Enterprise Data Architect, you will shape the future state data platforms, ensure alignment with the Group’s analytics strategy, and drive secure, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise IT standards and architectural principles aligned with corporate strategy.
• Establish frameworks to reduce duplication, safeguard coherence, and support long‑term business growth.
• Research emerging technologies and assess market trends to modernise the IT estate.
• Lead evaluation of disruptive innovations and create modernisation roadmaps that manage technical debt.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership to solution architects and development teams.
• Foster a collaborative culture and develop internal capability through structured development plans.
• Oversee enterprise‑wide architecture across infrastructure, operations, cybersecurity, and platform domains.
• Set strategic direction, standards, and governance for data and analytics, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security.
• Define policies for data management and compliance, transforming information assets into reliable, trusted resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading enterprise data architecture initiatives in large, complex organisations.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to influence technology decisions across business and IT teams.
• Demonstrated ability to design scalable, resilient, and secure data solutions.
• Excellent communication and mentorship skills to guide architects and development teams.
