Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

Aligned Edges is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to own and evolve its complex enterprise network and security infrastructure. You will work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud and IT operations teams to deliver secure, high‑availability solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure and maintain enterprise networks, including switching, routing, VLANs, OSPF, BGP and VPNs.
• Configure and manage enterprise firewalls such as Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto Networks.
• Implement network segmentation, security policies and access controls across the environment.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, incident response, root‑cause analysis and support high‑availability projects.
• Lead network transformation, migration, optimization and other large‑scale initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with cybersecurity best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in network engineering and security.
• Professional certifications are highly desirable (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks).
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
