Senior New Equipment Estimation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior New Equipment (NE) Estimation Engineer to join Otis in Dubai. The role supports the sales process for new equipment projects across the UAE, providing cost‑estimation and commercial support to secure competitive bids.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with New Equipment Sales Engineers to deliver full estimation and sales administration support.
• Review customer contracts, record them in internal systems and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Inspect installation drawings, determine material quantities, and identify supply sources from Otis factories.
• Gather technical and commercial cost data from factories, design engineers and suppliers.
• Prepare detailed estimation price lists covering material, labour, duties, tools, transportation and other project costs.
• Calculate margins and buffers to build profitable sales proposals.
• Release material orders based on approved drawings and maintain records through the E‑Logistic tool.
• Archive contract terms, monitor key reports for trends and prepare technical/commercial submittals.
• Participate in customer meetings and produce compliance statements when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales operations, cost estimation or engineering within a construction/engineering environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
• Relevant certification such as Certified Sales Associate (CSA) preferred.
