Senior Officer – Logistics

About the role

The Senior Officer – Logistics ensures that the receipt, handling and shipment of strategic raw materials such as alumina, coke, pitch, AlF3 and baked anodes are coordinated efficiently to support uninterrupted molten aluminium production.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee planning and scheduling of raw material receipts, advising operations on incoming ships and monitoring unloading, storage and delivery.
• Coordinate vessel schedules with shipping lines, suppliers and port authorities to avoid clashes and demurrage.
• Work with dock operation staff to guarantee plant and equipment availability for material deliveries.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and manage the planning process in the SAP‑TSW system, releasing purchase orders on time.
• Comply with safety, quality and environmental policies to maintain a healthy work environment.
• Perform other related duties as directed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or related field; procurement certification preferred.
• 2–3 years of logistics or shipping experience in a similar industry.
